Transgenerational experience, intergenerational transmission of trauma, and psychotherapy
Transgenerational patterns exist “in the shadows”—in unspoken losses, in the silence surrounding family secrets, in recurring roles, in dramatic relationships, and in physical symptoms. Exploring these patterns brings awareness to where there is a source of strength in one’s personal history, and where there is a knot that needs to be untangled.
We cannot change the past. But we can change the rules by which we live—so as not to pass on to our children what we ourselves did not wish to inherit.

Projects Seeking Funding
Transgenerational trauma is a young and rapidly growing clinical discipline. Ukraine occupies a unique position in this field: five years of active armed conflict have provided our specialists with an unprecedented wealth of clinical experience. We are transforming this experience into scientific data, methods, and educational programs—for Ukraine and for the world.
