Rich

For 7 hours we talk about how to survive a loss.

This is not taught, but is told by a person who personally goes through such a test. A psychotherapist helps you to talk about it.

Therapeutic

This experience is therapeutic for those who share their own experiences. And for the one who witnesses the process.

When you listen and see something that is similar to yours, it becomes smaller. A shared grief is a grief divided in half.

Professionally

The interview is conducted by a psychotherapist who asks about the experience of living with loss.

There is also a 2-hour block with recommendations on how to live with grief. Throughout the entire time of communication, there is an opportunity to ask questions.

Psychotherapeutic interviews with the bereaved

Against the backdrop of the war on the one hand and a large number of grief education programs on the other, there is a social fear of approaching pain, touching it, being close to it. That’s how the idea of psychotherapeutic interviews came about, where we can show what loss looks like. What it consists of, what it sounds like, what it feels like. What a person who is experiencing a loss looks like, what they talk about, whether they smile at all.

Because grief wants to be listened to. Not silenced. They did not hide it in family closets. We did not pretend that it did not exist. We did not let it become petrified, as our grandparents did after World War II.

The event is held in the format of warm human communication – an interview between a psychotherapist and a person experiencing the grief of loss. You are welcome to join in – watch and listen to the story of someone who is overcoming such a challenge. Perhaps it will support you. Maybe it will give you strength if you are on the verge. Or perhaps it will show you that you are not alone in swimming through your ocean of pain. There are those who are doing it next to you, at the same time.

Welcome.

The psychotherapeutic effect of an interview is to talk about your own pain. In a safe environment, with personalized attention and dialog with carefully chosen words. And also in observing how a person opens up, what they are talking about
