Theory | Practice
The practical course teaches to work with sexual violence. Those who survived this tragedy themselves are recommended to go into individual therapy.
Sexual violence trauma (theory)
Sexual violence perception in society. Cliches and prejudices.
Body and mind: before, during and after. Mental defense mechanisms: dissociations, regressions, devaluing, repression. Therapy sabotage and refusal.
Shame and guilt. Mental and physical consequences: in the first days, in a week, a month, six months, and years.
PTSD signs: haunting states and dreams, panic and anxiety attacks.
Peculiarities of sexual violence trauma in the wartime. What we face in reality. Gender peculiarities. Comprehensive nature of trauma.

Hotline work: a telephone conversation. First aid. Crisis aid.
