DonateWhat we are building here must serve not only Ukraine, but every society living through conflict — and struggling to emerge from it. There are many such societies. Our experience belongs to the world
Humanity wages war. And will hardly stop.
The world will not return to silence. 61 active state armed conflicts in 36 countries in 2024 — the highest number since 1946. 123,2 million people were forcibly displaced due to persecution, conflict, violence, and human rights violations. This means the number of traumatized people in the world will keep growing. The question is no longer whether there will be demand for help. The question is whether that help will be quality and evidence-based.
Ukrainian psychologists occupy a unique place in the global mental health system. Five years of uninterrupted clinical practice under active bombardment, amid mass grief and millions of people in uniform. No other professional community in the world has accumulated such density of real experience working with multilayered war trauma.
We are seeking financial support for our projects.

Trauma does not end when the guns fall silent. That is precisely when it begins. It moves forward — through the psyche, the body, families, and generations. This is scientifically proven. It can be stopped. This is what we do.

PROJECTS OPEN FOR FUNDING

01 / Scientific Research on Transgenerational Trauma
A structured scientific study of transgenerational trauma transmission across generations · Veterans · Families of civilians and military personnel
This research creates a dataset on transgenerational trauma under active armed conflict, unprecedented in scope and methodological depth. The findings will be published in peer-reviewed international journals and integrated into the curricula of psychiatric and psychology programs worldwide.
Why us? Ukrainian adaptation of the HITT-Q instrument, peer-reviewed publications. PhD research on transgenerational trauma.

02 / Original Therapy Method for Transgenerational Trauma
Clinical Manual · Training Materials · Clinical Tools
An original therapeutic method for working with transgenerational trauma, developed on the basis of the validated HITT-Q diagnostic instrument, adapted for Ukraine in 2025. The first evidence-based clinical system of its kind in Ukraine. Includes a clinical manual and training materials with original metaphors and infographics.
Why us? Four years of developing and teaching original educational programs (300+ students as of March 2026). Doctoral research on transgenerational trauma.

03 / Certified Training Centers in Transgenerational Trauma Psychotherapy
Annual Professional Program · International Certification · Psychotherapists, Clinical Psychologists · International Reach
Competency in transgenerational trauma is absent from most psychology education programs in Ukraine and worldwide. This leads to misdiagnosis and ineffective treatment. Program graduates will become certified specialists in their home countries.
Why us? Active educational program “Psychotherapy of Transgenerational Trauma” (100+ participants as of March 2026). Doctoral research on transgenerational trauma.

04 / International Scientific Conference on Transgenerational Trauma Psychotherapy
Annual Symposium · Scientific Program · Clinical Masterclasses
Transgenerational trauma is rapidly developing as a clinical discipline, yet still lacks a dedicated international scientific platform — centered in Kyiv, the capital of a country with unprecedented experience. The annual conference will fill this gap, bringing together researchers and clinicians working with intergenerational trauma across diverse cultural and conflict contexts.
Why us? International conference “Anatomy of Trauma” (2023). Clinical practice throughout active hostilities. Telegram channel “War Psychotrauma” (4.8K subscribers, in Ukrainian).

05 / Clinical Art Therapy Center for Veterans
New category: Clinical Art Therapy · Training Art Therapists to Work with Veterans · Exhibitions in Ukraine and Abroad
A permanent clinical and educational art therapy center working with military personnel. Three areas of work: clinical (individual and group sessions), educational (training art therapists in protocols for working with veterans), exhibition (curated exhibitions of veterans’ work in Ukraine and abroad).
Why us? 18 months of art therapy practice in the military ward of Pavlov Psychiatric Hospital No. 1 (Kyiv).
