The experience we are gaining today amid active hostilities is something that cannot be acquired in peacetime. This is a unique clinical opportunity. And we are turning it into training programs
What Was Missing at the University
Providing psychological support in wartime requires new skills. Traditional education does not prepare professionals to work with transgenerational trauma, combat stress, mass grief, and multiple losses. We are filling this gap through practice-oriented programs grounded in evidence-based research and five years of real-world clinical experience during active hostilities.
Since 2022, over 250 specialists have completed our training. Since 2024, the “Institute of War Psychotrauma” has been a certified provider of continuing medical education (CME) by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
We provide training in trauma response in the context of a full-scale war—an experience that no peacetime educational program has ever offered.
