MISSION
We are looking into the eyes of war: grief, loss, trauma
It is also heavy for us because of what we have experienced. But we choose to take it as it is. And work for healing.

We are looking into the eyes of war: trauma, grief, loss

War Psychotrauma Institute – is a non-profit organization dedicated to research, education, and volunteer work addressing the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war on mental health
A unique Ukrainian experience
Ukrainian psychologists occupy a unique place in the global mental health system. Five years of uninterrupted clinical practice amid active bombardment, widespread grief, and millions of people in military uniform. No other professional community in the world has accumulated such a wealth of real-world experience working with complex war trauma.
What we are building here belongs not only to Ukraine. It belongs to every society experiencing conflict.
We have been working since the first day of the full-scale war
We are open to various forms of collaboration
Financial support: a grant or direct contribution to the organization’s activities. Institutional partnership: joint projects, exchange of expertise. Expert collaboration: participation in an advisory board, supervision, consulting.
We have been working throughout the war — and we will continue to do so afterward.
